About Dr Neela Biswas
MBBS, FACD
Dr Neela Biswas is an Australian-trained dermatologist, a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, who specialises in medical and paediatric dermatology.
She completed her medical degree at the James Cook University in Queensland. She then worked as a GP in Brisbane before commencing her training in dermatology. Her subsequent specialist dermatology training took place at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Queensland Institute of Dermatology and the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
Dr Biswas has always been actively involved in research throughout her medical career and is regularly involved with teaching current dermatology registrars and medical students.
She is interested in all aspects of general dermatology including skin cancer surveillance, female dermatology, acne, eczema, psoriasis, hyperhidrosis, inflammatory and auto-immune connective tissue diseases. She also loves working with kids and specialises in paediatric dermatology.
In her spare time, Dr Biswas enjoys travelling and eating out with her husband, daughter and fur baby.
