About Dr Casey Rowe

Dr Casey Rowe is a specialist Dermatologist and fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Dr Rowe completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland, before undergoing further general medical training as a junior doctor at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. She then obtained a PhD, with her thesis exploring prognostic factors in patients with melanoma. Dr Rowe was the recipient of the UQDI Clinician-Researcher Scholarship during this time and has presented her research findings at multiple national conferences as well as published widely in medical journals. She is a lecturer for University of Queensland.

Dr Rowe undertook her specialist Dermatology training in Queensland, obtaining experience in a variety of dermatology departments at the Mater Adult Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Queensland Institute of Dermatology, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.  Dr Rowe was the recipient of the Adrian Johnson Memorial Prize during her first year of specialist training.  She also received the Kossard Dermatopathology Award as a result of her performance in the Fellowship Examinations in her final year of training.

Dr Rowe is interested in all aspects of dermatology, including skin cancer surveillance, eczema, psoriasis, acne, paediatric dermatology, female genital dermatology, hyperhidrosis and autoimmune connective tissue diseases. She will be undergoing further training in Cosmetic Dermatology.
