About Dr Kristyn Deen

Dr Kristyn Deen is a specialist Dermatologist and fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
Dr Kristyn Deen is a specialist dermatologist with interest in all aspects of medical dermatology including acne, skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, hyperhidrosis and vulval skin disorders.
After completing her medical degree and junior medical training in Queensland, Dr Deen completed her specialist dermatology training in Queensland and the United Kingdom. This was undertaken at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital and the Queensland Institute of Dermatology. She also travelled overseas where she spent a valuable year of her specialist training at the Queens Hospital in London.
Dr Deen is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and has also obtained a Masters of Medicine in Skin Cancer at the University of Queensland.
Outside of her clinical roles, Dr Deen enjoys contributing her knowledge and experience to research and has multiple publications in both national and international peer-reviewed journals. She holds an academic appointment as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and is involved with the teaching and training of medical students and dermatology registrars.
